In applying for a loan, our lenders will use credit-scoring or other automated systems to assess your application and verify your identity. They will search your records through credit reference agencies who will supply credit information as well as information from the Electoral Register. They will always record details of this search. We and other companies may use these records and other information to make credit and insurance related decisions about you, and help manage your account. The records may also be used to make credit decisions about your current spouse, partner or any other individual identified as being financially associated with you. www.guarantorloans.co will also complete a credit reference check on the applicant and the guarantor under licence from a lender and we will also check your details with fraud prevention agencies.
Should you provide false or inaccurate information and we suspect fraud, this will recorded and the information may be used by law enforcement agencies. Our Lenders and other organisations may use these records and information recorded by fraud prevention agencies in other countries to prevent fraud and money laundering. We may record, use, exchange, analyse and assess information held about you and your relationship with us. We may use this information to give you information by fax, mail, email, text message, mms or other form of electronic communication about products and services that may be of interest to you. Some lenders or agencies will transfer your data out of the UK to their servers and computer systems held offshore and you consent to your data being used by any third party company whether they process your data in the UK or abroad. We may also pass this information to other selected businesses who may contact you directly about services and products that may be of interest to you. What information do you collect?
www.guarantorloans.co will collect and process your personal data in order to provide you with a loan broker service. As a credit broker we will use your personal data provided on your completed application form to carry out the following functions:
* Process the application you have made
* Provide your information to a lender or lenders who we feel may be willing to lend to you
* Provide your information to a credit reference agency for searches to be made
* Complete the credit agreement on behalf of the lender
* Pass your application in its entirety to an alternative broker if www.guarantorloans.co cannot assist in brokering you a loan. If you do not agree with this action then you must write to us at: Innovation House, Power Road, Bromborough, Wirral. CH62 3QT stating clearly your intention that you do not wish for your details to be passed to another broker, lender or marketing firm.
We may also use your information to:
* Offer you other products or services which we feel may be of interest to you. At a minimum we will always give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving such offers
* Enable us to pass your details to another broker with a view to them offering you products or services they feel may be of interest to you. If you do not agree with this action then you must write to us at: Innovation House, Power Road, Bromborough, Wirral. CH62 3QT stating clearly your intention that you do not wish for your details to be passed to another broker, lender or marketing firm.
* Permit access to your information by any regulatory authority where required to by law and to ensure that we are complying with all regulatory requirements when processing your data
* Conduct market analysis by passing your details to an external market analyst company who will use your information solely for that purpose.
Lending companies
Lenders to whom the application is passed will make wider use of the information than a broker. If you have received any lender documents, they should include a statement telling you what they will do with the information, or telling you where to look to find out what use they will make of it. This statement will usually be near any signature box, or clearly placed on the front page. If the information is not by the signature box there may be an “information padlock” sign drawing your attention to where the information is. Loans are always granted at the discretion of the lending company.
Credit reference agencies
We and almost all lending companies will check the information supplied on loan applications with data held by Credit Reference Agencies. The Credit Reference Agency will keep a record of any searches and any other lenders may use it to assess applications from you in the future.
Information held about you by a credit reference agency may already be linked to records relating to another person, for example your spouse, and for the purpose of your loan application you will be treated as financially linked. Your loan application will be assessed with reference to all linked records. If you have confirmed you are linked financially with another person, you are declaring that you are entitled to (a) disclose information about that person and/or anyone else referred to by you and (b) that you authorise the broker and any lender involved in the application to search, link and/or record information at credit reference agencies about you and/or anyone else referred to by you.
If the lender we place you with is unable to accept your application we may pass your details to other suitable companies. These companies may also search your records at Credit Reference Agencies.
While assessing your application we may use credit scoring or other automated processes and the details of your application may be used to assess financial risk and assist with fraud prevention and tracing.
If you wish to see the information contained on a Credit Reference Agency file you can do so by writing to the relevant agency. The agency must respond within 7 working days. There is a small fee of around £2 required. If your credit reference file contains information about other people with whom you have no financial connection or if it contains information which is incorrect you can ask for the entry to be corrected, removed, or have a note put on the file explaining why you think the information is wrong. The agency will not remove correct information.

Call recording
Calls to Our offices may be recorded and monitored; this is for our protection and yours. Calls are used for training and monitoring purposes and may be used in the unlikely event of a complaint.
Right to object

Security of processing
